Tensive is an Italian clinical-stage medical device company based in Milan that develops bioresorbable, biomimetic polymeric scaffolds for breast reconstruction and tissue marking after lumpectomy. Its REGENERA/SOFTAG implant is placed in the cavity left by a removed tumour in a fast one-step procedure and is gradually replaced by the patient's own tissue, preserving the breast's original shape and feel. With positive pivotal-trial results in 94 breast cancer patients, the company anticipates its first EU regulatory approval as soon as early 2027.
