Stellios Technologies is an American defense and energy company that designs and builds high-power microwave systems — including gyrotrons, klystrons, vacuum-electronic devices and the high-voltage power systems that drive them — for counter-drone defense and industrial applications. Founded in 2026 by Caltech-trained physicist Dr. Richard Starson, previously co-founder of microwave-powered space launch venture Escape Dynamics, the company is vertically integrated from power generation to software-defined controls and manufactures in the United States. Alongside its commercial directed-energy platform it runs Stellios Core, a compact aneutronic fusion research program, and Stellios Genesis, an AI-native engineering and digital-twin platform.
