StarDetect is a Beijing-based space-computing startup founded in 2020 by a Tsinghua University team. It provides micro-nano satellite payload solutions and operates in-orbit real-time computing services, spanning space-grade chip screening, payload development and constellation operations, with onboard AI processing serving communications, remote sensing, situational awareness and scientific missions. As of September 2026 it had 37 advanced-process GPUs operating in orbit and is building the Fuyao constellation, positioned as China first cloud-edge collaborative space computing constellation.
