Scripto is a cloud-based collaborative screenwriting and enterprise script management platform co-founded by Stephen Colbert and Rob Dubbin for real-time collaborative writing across TV, film, video games, awards shows and live productions. Born out of in-house tooling built for The Colbert Report, it is used in production by The Late Show, The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight and SNL, and offers its Screenplay Pro suite for narrative film and TV alongside API integrations with production tools. The software is free for individual writers and charges teams for collaboration features.
