RougeTx (Rouge Therapeutics) is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company spun out of Leiden University Medical Center and based in Naarden, the Netherlands. It develops first-in-class, disease-modifying small-molecule therapies that restore vascular stability by targeting pericyte dysfunction, the underlying biology that regulates angiogenesis and blood vessel integrity. Its lead program RTX-001 is a potential once-daily oral treatment for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), the second most common inherited bleeding disorder, which the company is advancing toward first-in-human clinical development, while its periSCOPE platform extends the same biology to additional diseases driven by vascular instability.
