REC's Innovation is a South Korean energy and climate-tech startup founded in 2021 and based in Naju, Jeollanam-do. It develops small-hydro and solar plants end to end, from design and construction (EPC) through operation and maintenance, and operates energy storage, AI-based energy management (EMS), virtual power plant (VPP) and remote monitoring and control (RTU) offerings alongside power-market trading. The company is also developing anion-exchange-membrane (AEM) water electrolysis components for green hydrogen and runs a small-hydro power project in Kara-Kol, Kyrgyzstan.
