Rebaba is a Stockholm-based energy technology company founded in 2023 by ex-Northvolt engineers Paula Runsten and Felix Kruse. It builds circular battery energy storage systems from retired electric-vehicle batteries — repurposing used packs into cabinet-based (Companion, 40 kWh) and containerised units for residential, commercial and industrial customers, supporting peak shaving, load shifting, solar storage and grid balancing. The company manufactures in-house at its CircularHub facility in Stockholm and sells through distribution partners across Sweden, Scandinavia, the DACH region and France, aiming to compete with new battery cells on price and performance rather than relying on green premiums.
