Ravel is a Seattle-based textile-to-textile recycling company tackling blended fabrics that conventional recycling infrastructure cannot process. Its proprietary Purification Recycling process accepts mixed textile waste, isolates and removes elastane (spandex) from polyester blends, and purifies the recovered material into mono-material fiber designed to be drop-in ready for existing textile manufacturing. Operating from a Seattle pilot plant, Ravel targets price parity with virgin materials and partners with apparel brands and textile makers to validate blended waste streams at commercial scale.
