Quint Computing is a German quantum computing startup based in Erlangen that develops superconducting quantum processors with a patented error-correction architecture. Its chip design suppresses most computational errors directly at the hardware level, aiming to cut the hardware overhead, complexity and energy consumption of fault-tolerant quantum computing by orders of magnitude while keeping clock speeds high. Founded in October 2025 as a spin-off from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and part of the Munich Quantum Valley ecosystem, the company targets industrial applications in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, logistics and manufacturing.
