QNu Labs is a Bengaluru-based quantum-safe cybersecurity company, incubated at IIT Madras in 2016, that builds products protecting data and communications against quantum-computing threats. Its full-stack QShield platform combines hardware-based quantum key distribution (QKD) and quantum random number generation (QRNG) with post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and in April 2026 it demonstrated a 1,000 km QKD network on existing telecom operator fibre — among the longest in the world. QNu sells to defence and government programmes, including Indian Army and Navy quantum encryption contracts, alongside enterprise customers in sectors such as banking, with its international footprint extending to the US and Australia.
