OXG Space is a Bengaluru-based spacetech startup founded in 2026 by former ISRO engineers Akash Shetty and Sanjay Gorur. It is building an edge-enabled orbital network — edge cell towers in space — that pairs 5G NTN-inspired satellite connectivity with in-orbit computing so Earth-observation data can be relayed, processed and fused in orbit and delivered to the ground as near-real-time intelligence. Its first programme, Mission Synapse, will demonstrate a Ka-band phased-array antenna, a deployable mesh reflector and a deployable solar array in orbit, and the company targets defence, intelligence and commercial satellite operators.
