Overwatch Data is a New York-based cybersecurity and threat-intelligence startup founded in 2022 by Arjun Bisen, Zara Perumal and Tad Mielnicki, backed by Y Combinator (Summer 2022 batch). Its platform runs AI agents that monitor hundreds of thousands of open sources — news, social media, forums and the dark web — to deliver real-time fraud, cyber-threat and brand-protection intelligence to financial institutions and enterprise security teams. The founding team built the product on risk and threat-intelligence careers spanning Stripe, Google's Threat Analysis Group and the Australian diplomatic service.
