Omabit is an AI platform for life science R&D that lets pharma and biotech teams run genomic analysis in plain English: researchers point it at clinical trial data, sequencing results or variant calls, and it runs the analysis, checks each finding against more than 200,000 published papers and returns a write-up with the code behind every figure. The company says this cuts analysis cycles from about three months to one day, with users spanning preclinical research, clinical development and diagnostics through Phase 2 trials. Formerly known as SeqGPT, the startup is based in Palo Alto, California, is part of the StartX Summer 2026 cohort, and was founded by Elena Cassidy, Jesse Eaton and Jay Sarkar.
