Octave.energy is a Belgian cleantech company founded in 2020 and headquartered in Mechelen that builds integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS) together with its own Energy Management System (EMS) for industrial customers, SMEs and the agricultural sector. Starting out with second-life EV battery systems, it now focuses on first-life LFP storage with in-house intelligent control, and has delivered more than 200 MWh of storage capacity to over 400 businesses including Colruyt Group, Eneco, McDonald's and Naturgy. The company has been profitable for three consecutive years and generated €16 million in revenue in 2025.
