Milan Aircraft (Milan Flugzeugwerke AG) is a Swiss aviation startup founded in 2024 and based at Langenthal airfield in Bleienbach, canton Bern, where an eleven-person team of engineers and aviators is developing a fully electric aircraft from a clean-sheet design. The aircraft is engineered for roughly 2.5 hours of endurance so it can cover a complete private-pilot training syllabus, letting flight schools cut costs, emissions and noise. Having completed a positive EASA pre-application meeting, the company is building its powertrain prototype — battery, control and power electronics and motor — before starting construction of a flying prototype, with a Series A planned to finance the aircraft build.
