MALCOVA is a medical imaging company founded in 2020 by Dr. Peymon Ghazi and Dr. Tara Ghazi and headquartered in Newark, California. It is developing a gantry-free, compression-free dedicated breast CT based on its patented Narrow-Beam technology, which it says reduces scatter contamination by about 90% while keeping radiation at mammogram-comparable levels, to improve detection of cancer in dense breast tissue. The platform pairs 3D imaging with AI detection modules and digital twins, targets hospitals and imaging centers through equipment sales plus software licensing, and is also extending the technology toward brain imaging for stroke.
