Machenta

Machenta is a London robotics AI startup building a foundation model that lets robots learn new physical tasks instantly from a single demonstration, without further training. The model is pre-trained entirely on simulated data rather than real-world demonstrations and runs across different robot types, including humanoids. Founded in 2025 as a spinout from Imperial College London's Robot Learning Lab by professor Edward Johns and Vitalis Vosylius, the team works from a new office and lab in King's Cross.
