KVector

KVector is a University of Birmingham spin-out commercialising a patented beam-steered antenna for radar and satellite communications. Its design replaces much of the electronics of an active electronically steered array with engineered metamaterial surfaces in an electro-mechanical architecture, delivering comparable performance with lower cost, weight, power draw and complexity, and is built for scalable manufacture through UK and European supply chains. Operating in stealth, the company works with selected commercial partners and targets radar, telecom core-network and satcom applications.
