Kodama Systems is a California-based robotics company building physical AI for forestry. Its RS1 system combines supervised autonomy with teleoperation to turn logging skidders into remotely supervised machines, and is deployed in commercial logging operations across the southeastern United States, where Kodama-equipped machines moved more than 100,000 tons of timber in the six months before its October 2026 seed round. The company sells skidding as a service to logging contractors on day- or month-rate terms, integrates with major forestry equipment OEMs, and targets timber operations as well as wildfire mitigation and suppression.
