Karta AI is a Bengaluru-based conversational AI startup that automates complex inbound customer calls for banks, lenders, fintechs and insurers. Its omnichannel platform spans voice, chat, email and WhatsApp and uses a predictive context engine to resolve multi-intent queries such as loan-status updates, statements and foreclosure requests across enterprise systems, which the company says resolves about 70% of borrower queries end to end at roughly half the cost per query. Founded in 2024 by former Razorpay executives Vijaypal Singh and Abhishek Kushwaha, it handles around 2 million conversations a month across more than 25 languages for customers including PhonePe, Pine Labs, Vyapar and Bajaj.
