InspeCity is a Thane, India-based spacetech startup, founded in 2022 by IIT Bombay professor Arindrajit Chowdhury and Tausif Shaikh, that builds in-orbit satellite servicing and life-extension technology. Its integrated stack includes GITA (green propulsion), CHAKSU (sensing and docking) and RAMA (a robotic arm), combined into the VEDA servicing vehicle to repair, refuel, and de-orbit satellites and cut space debris. The company holds active government-backed R&D contracts under India's iDEX defence-innovation programme and counts Speciale Invest, Ashish Kacholia, and Antler India among its investors.
