Inovus Medical is a St Helens-based medical technology company founded in 2012 that designs and manufactures surgical training simulators, including laparoscopic, hysteroscopy, flexible endoscopy and robotic systems built around lifelike hydrogel anatomical models. Its TOTUM software platform lets surgeons track their training and receive feedback from mentors online. The company partners with organisations including the NHS, the Royal College of Surgeons England and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and its simulators are used across nearly 300 US residency programmes.
