Infisical is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted platform for managing secrets, certificates, configs, and privileged access across teams and infrastructure, founded in 2022 by Vlad Matsiiako, Tony Dang, and Maidul Islam, who met at Cornell University. A Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch company headquartered in San Francisco, it combines secrets management, certificate management, secret scanning, and privileged access in one developer-facing platform sold as hosted SaaS or self-hosted open-core, and counts Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG among its customers. After joining YC it raised a $2.8M seed led by Google's Gradient Ventures (2023) and a $16M Series A led by Elad Gil (2025), reporting 20x year-over-year revenue growth and cash-flow positivity by mid-2025.
