Hurotics is a South Korean wearable robotics startup founded in 2022 by Chung-Ang University mechanical engineering professor Gi-uk Lee, building soft, clothing-like exosuits rather than rigid exoskeleton frames. Its flagship product H-Medi is a certified medical gait-rehabilitation exosuit that uses cable-tendon actuation and AI-driven gait analysis; it is deployed at major Seoul hospitals and was exported to the University of Illinois Chicago for stroke rehabilitation research. The company is extending its technology from hospital rehabilitation toward everyday walking assistance, with the longer-term goal of a wearable physical AI data platform.
