Changguang Chenying, trading as Hooke Instruments, is a Changchun-based scientific-instrument maker founded in 2017 by Dr. Bei Li's Oxford University team and incubated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics. It develops proprietary optical instruments for life-science research and bioprocessing — including the PRECI SCS Raman single-cell sorter, P300 confocal Raman spectrometer and S3000 ultrafast 3D imaging systems — together with microfluidic chip consumables and analysis software. Its platforms serve microbiology, biomedical research, synthetic biology, industrial fermentation and probiotic development, with 100-plus customers in academia and industry worldwide.
