Hivebotics is a Singapore-based robotics startup founded in 2021 as a spin-off from the National University of Singapore by Rishab Patwari and Nguyen Tuan Dung. Its flagship product, Abluo, is an autonomous robot with an articulated arm that cleans entire commercial restrooms - toilets, urinals, sinks and floors - contact-free using high-pressure steam, targeted chemical jets, vacuum extraction and blow-drying, while onboard cameras identify fixtures and its proprietary HiveIntelligence AI layer plans, monitors and validates each job in real time. Abluo launched commercially in 2024 and has logged about 10,000 operating hours across more than 20 sites in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, including hospitals, airport terminals and shopping malls.
