Hermetiq, founded in 2025 by CEO Jake Newfield and CTO Tim Potter, builds an intelligence platform for Bazel build systems that diagnoses software build failures, cache misses, and remote-execution bottlenecks for engineering teams running AI coding agents. The company is recognized by Bazel as an official product partner and remote execution service provider, and reports that one of the four leading global AI labs runs its platform in production while Etsy pilots it. Hermetiq has raised $2.2M in seed funding to date, backed by Jet Investment, Jason Calacanis's Launch Fund, Gokul Rajaram, and Google VP Niranjan Tulpule.
