Granter is a Lisbon-based AI startup founded in 2023 whose AI Grant Consultant platform helps SMEs and startups identify European public funding opportunities, prepare applications and manage funded projects through a chat-based interface built on LLMs adapted for grant work, with each customer's data kept in isolated silos. It won the PITCH competition at Web Summit 2025 and reports supporting more than 140 businesses with applications for over €30 million in funding, with clients including ANA Airports, MC Sonae, Galp, the Portuguese Navy and Fidelidade. After establishing itself in Portugal, it is expanding into Spain, Germany and Italy, with a US entry planned for around 2028.
