GonGlobal is a Melbourne-based drug-delivery startup founded in 2023 by Ellen Gonda and Dr Igor Gonda that is developing OVULAIR, an inhalation system for administering approved IVF medicines without injections. The technology builds on RMIT University patented HYDRA nebulisation platform, to which GonGlobal holds a fully paid-up, royalty-free exclusive global licence for fertility drugs, with lead programs targeting follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and leuprolide. Backed by Innovation Victoria University Innovation Platform, RMIT and private investors, the company aims to replace the hundreds of self-administered injections typical of IVF treatment and improve patient experience and success rates.
