Fragment

Fragment is a New York-based financial-infrastructure company offering a ledger API for building financial products: developers define money movement as declarative schemas, and the platform uses double-entry accounting to keep every transaction balanced and records consistent, including workflows executed autonomously by AI agents. Its engine has run in production for roughly five years behind fintech platforms such as Bill.com, Ramp, Whop and AtoB, which use it as a shared transaction record. The company was founded by CEO Thomas Neckel and CTO Varun Mohan, who built core financial infrastructure at companies including Stripe, Affirm and Robinhood.
