Foorban is a Milan-based foodtech scale-up founded in 2016 that replaces the traditional company canteen with a B2B2C workplace-food platform built around connected smart fridges. Companies subscribe to the service while employees pick up ready-made meals, snacks and beverages through a proprietary app, with Foorban handling installation, restocking and logistics. By 2025 the company served more than 500 corporate customers via some 800 fridges, generating over EUR 12 million in revenue at operational break-even, and it is now extending coverage across Italian provinces and into other European markets.
