Euclyd is an Eindhoven-based AI infrastructure startup founded in 2024 by former ASML director Bernardo Kastrup that designs silicon systems for running foundation AI models. Its architecture combines custom neural processors with processor-memory co-design and system-level optimization to cut the energy, cost and footprint of AI inference, which the company claims makes it roughly 100 times more power-efficient than Nvidia's latest GPUs. Euclyd plans two revenue streams - selling rack-scale systems to enterprises that want self-hosted AI inference and licensing its chip designs - with its first commercial systems targeted for 2028.
