Echelon is a Riyadh-based AI company founded in 2025 by Prince Khalid Bin Bader Al Saud that helps enterprises and government entities select, localise and deploy AI technologies from global providers. Rather than building a single product, it works across the AI stack through commercial partnerships, joint ventures and purpose-built businesses, targeting sectors including energy, industrials, government, telecommunications, defence, aviation, financial services and healthcare. Its technology partners include Applied Intuition, IFS and Rubrik, and it plans to launch its Frontier engineering arm and an applied-AI training institute in late 2026, followed by a defence division in early 2027.
