Deon Health is a Port Huron, Michigan-based specialty managed care organization founded in 2024 by Shane Spotts to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Led by CEO Sara Ratner, its Community Supported Care Model coordinates clinical, behavioral, and home- and community-based services around each individual in partnership with existing local providers rather than replacing them. Deon Health is backed by investors including Town Hall Ventures, Difference Partners, and First Trust Capital Partners, joined in August 2026 by a strategic investment from AmeriHealth Caritas.
