Daedal Systems builds standardized plasma measurement systems for the nuclear fusion industry, delivered as a service under full-service contracts. Founded by Henry Gould, previously technical project manager of plasma diagnostics at General Fusion, the Toronto-based company offers diagnostic suites such as Thomson scattering, X-ray crystal spectroscopy and visible-UV spectroscopy that adapt to different fusion machines and reactor approaches. It maintains a research partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and independently validates technical milestones so fusion developers can focus on core reactor technology.
