Custodea is an Amsterdam-based data-platform company, operated by Custodea B.V., that gives European SMEs a private, EU-hosted data lake for their business data. Read-only connectors pull records from systems such as Exact Online, AFAS, Personio, DATEV and HubSpot into a continuously synchronised environment, which businesses then read through tools like Power BI, Excel, Looker, Tableau and dbt or feed to their own AI agents. Founded in 2025 by Gregory Aerts, the company runs entirely on EU infrastructure with no US cloud sub-processors, positioning data sovereignty as the foundation for making SMEs AI-ready.
