Cowboy (Cowboy Labs) is a New York-based AI startup building an app store and operating system for AI agents. Its Cowboy General Store marketplace lets developers build, deploy and monetize autonomous agents, data feeds, models and compute, with each agent running in an isolated sandbox that carries its own wallet, schedule and encrypted file system, and every store listing passing the platform's Marshal security review. Founded in 2025 by CEO Chad DePue together with the venture fund Uncommon Projects, Cowboy emerged from stealth in November 2026 with more than 100 agents and 10,000 data feeds available through Cowboy Cloud, and is developing the Cowboy Chain distributed computing network.
