CorePower Magnetics develops and manufactures advanced magnetic components — inductors, transformers, and motors — using proprietary nanocrystalline and amorphous alloys for power electronics serving AI infrastructure, data centers, grid modernization, and industrial electrification. Founded in 2020 out of Carnegie Mellon University research and headquartered at Pittsburgh's Energy Innovation Center, the company works across the entire value chain from raw alloy production to finished component design, engineered and built in-house in the U.S. Its products range from standard CPMLMAX inductors sold through DigiKey to custom components and rare-earth-free motors, all manufactured at its Pittsburgh facility.
