CONNECTA Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Barcelona that develops small-molecule neuroplasticity modulators for disorders of the central nervous system. Its lead program, CTH120, is a potential first-in-class, disease-modifying treatment for Fragile X syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder with no approved targeted therapies, currently being evaluated in a Phase IIa trial in adult male patients. Founded in 2019 as a spin-off of the Prous Institute for Biomedical Research, the company is also preparing pediatric development of CTH120 through the EU-co-funded FRAXCURE project.
