Cloverleaf Bio is a New Haven, Connecticut-based RNA therapeutics company and Yale University spinout developing engineered transfer RNA (tRNA)-based payloads for cancer. Its platform is built around the selective and durable inhibition of RNA-modifying enzymes that cancer cells become abnormally dependent on as they proliferate, with lead compound CLB-001 targeting hepatocellular carcinoma and a follow-on antibody-tRNA conjugate (ATC) program targeting colorectal cancer. The company was founded by Austin Draycott (CEO), Cole Lewis (CSO) and Wendy Gilbert (SAB Chair), and its early research was supported in part by National Cancer Institute SBIR/STTR funding.
