BoomerangHR is a New York-based AI-powered platform for employee offboarding and alumni management, founded in 2023 by Jeff Wald with co-founders Kanish Raajkumar, Andrei Tulai and Mallory Meiser. It connects to corporate HRIS and ATS systems to automate employee exits - including compliance, COBRA administration, 401(k) rollovers, equipment returns and exit interviews - and maintains verified alumni profiles that are automatically matched to open roles, turning former employees into a source of rehires, referrals and sales leads. At the time of its seed announcement the platform was used by hundreds of companies, with Warby Parker among its early customers.
