Biotts is a Polish biotech company developing needle-free drug delivery based on its patented MTC-Y transdermal carrier, a semi-solid emulsion that transports lipophilic and hydrophilic molecules up to 6,000 Da, including peptides and proteins, through skin and mucous membranes as an alternative to injections. Its pipeline targets metabolic diseases, rare diseases and ophthalmology, with lead programs including needle-free transdermal insulin (MTC-INS, developed with insulin maker Bioton) and transdermal (MTC-S1) and oral (MTO-S1) semaglutide candidates for type 2 diabetes and obesity. The company develops its own transdermal drug products while offering the platform to pharmaceutical partners through development collaborations, and is preparing for a planned 2027 listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange main market.
