Anacalypsis Therapeutics is an Athens-based biotechnology company developing precision, disease-modifying therapeutic strategies and biomarkers for Parkinson's disease and related neurodegenerative disorders. Its lead program, AT001, is a stapled peptide designed to disrupt the LRRK2-FADD protein-protein interaction and is initially aimed at Parkinson's disease linked to pathogenic LRRK2 variants. The company was co-founded by CEO Alexia Polissidis and CSO Hardy Rideout and is incubated at the Athens LifeTech Park (ALTP) in Athens.
