Aliena

Aliena is a Singapore-based space propulsion company that develops Hall effect thruster systems for nano- to medium satellites, extending satellite operational life and enabling missions in very low Earth orbit. Founded in 2018 as a spin-off from Nanyang Technological University by Mark Lim and George-Cristian Potrivitu, it designs, builds and tests its engines at an 8,020 sq ft jet propulsion test and production facility in Singapore with capacity for up to 100 systems per year. Its MUSIC, MESSE and MFE product lines span 100 W to kilowatt-class power, serving customers across Europe, its largest market, and South Korea.
