Alethio Therapeutics is a University of Oxford spin-out developing targeted therapies with disease-modifying potential for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), a group of chronic blood cancers. Co-founded by physician-scientists Adam Mead and Beth Psaila and led by CEO Rohit Batta, the company is headquartered in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, and built around its ARTEMIS discovery platform. Its lead programme, ATX-011, is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody targeting G6B, designed to treat essential thrombocythaemia by selectively clearing the cells that drive the disease.
