Adaptyv Bio is a Lausanne, Switzerland-based startup building an automated wet lab that lets researchers and AI agents design, synthesize, and experimentally test proteins entirely through software. Its cloud lab platform has run experiments for over 100 customers, including pharma companies Roche and Novo Nordisk and AI-native drug discovery labs, and was used by Anthropic to benchmark Claude models designing protein binders. The company raised a $40M Series A led by Highland Europe in August 2026 to build higher-throughput automated lab infrastructure and expand from Switzerland into a new London office.
