Overview
This skill provides a curated Top 100 list of popular Chinese scenic spots, including a 5A scenic-area database and practical travel guidance. It helps users get spot details (tickets, best season, suggested duration), find recommendations by province/type/season, and build multi-day itineraries. ⚠️ Ticket prices and policies change frequently—always verify on official channels or major booking platforms before travel.
How this skill works
The skill inspects a structured Top100 dataset for each scenic spot (name, province/city, type, ticket reference, best months, recommended visit length, tags). For season or itinerary queries it also consults a travel-guide dataset that contains seasonal suggestions, price ranges, reservation tips, transport notes, and difficulty estimates. Responses format differently by intent: single-spot lookup returns facts + 2–3 quick tips; recommendation returns 3–5 matched spots with highlights; itinerary returns day-by-day plans with transit and booking reminders.
When to use it
- Look up a specific scenic spot’s quick facts (tickets, best time, duration).
- Get curated recommendations by province, type (nature, history, family), or season.
- Plan a multi-day regional itinerary using Top100 highlights and transit links.
- Compare two or more scenic spots on price, difficulty, and attraction focus.
- Prepare trip logistics: reservation tips, transport options, and site-specific cautions.
Best practices
- State the city/province and travel dates to get precise recommendations.
- Specify traveler type (solo, family with kids, elderly, hiking) to tailor difficulty and pace.
- Ask for ticket/booking reminders separately before finalizing purchases.
- Use suggested visit lengths to avoid overbooking multiple sites in one day.
- Treat provided ticket prices as references and confirm with official sources before departure.
Example use cases
- User asks “Where to go in autumn near Beijing?” → returns 3–5 ranked spots with highlights and best months.
- User asks “How to spend 5 days in Yunnan?” → provides day-by-day itinerary using Top100 sites, transit links, and reservation notes.
- User asks “Compare the Forbidden City and Summer Palace” → side-by-side summary: entrance info, best visit time, suggested durations, crowd/difficulty notes.
- User asks “Recommend family-friendly 5A scenic spots in Guangdong” → lists child-friendly spots with facilities and ideal seasons.
- User asks “Do I need to reserve Huangshan tickets?” → explains current reservation norms, peak-season advice, and where to check updates.
