Overview

This skill ships a complete, deployed web app from a single idea in one session. It validates the concept, picks a pragmatic stack, builds the core feature, and deploys a public URL to Vercel or GitHub Pages. The goal is a usable MVP, not endless polishing.

How this skill works

First it validates the idea with four quick checks: value sentence, technical feasibility, target users, and fatal flaws. Then it selects a sensible default stack (Next.js + Tailwind + TypeScript → Vercel) or a lighter option for static sites. It iteratively builds core functionality, polishes UI and error handling, runs tests, and deploys the project, returning a live public URL and a short report.

When to use it

  • You say “build me an app”, “ship this idea”, “vibe code”, or describe any consumer app/website to be built and deployed.
  • You need a working MVP or single-feature tool delivered quickly and publicly.
  • You want a no-fluff approach: core value shipped first, extras later.
  • You have limited or no backend needs (or can accept Supabase for database).
  • You want deployment to Vercel or GitHub Pages without manual deployment steps.

Best practices

  • Validate idea first with one-sentence value, feasibility, audience, and fatal-flaw checks before coding.
  • Default to Next.js + Tailwind + TypeScript and Vercel unless the app is static or needs a DB/auth.
  • Build the single core feature first; avoid feature creep or unnecessary services.
  • Design intentionally: dark mode by default, mobile-first responsiveness, and clear loading/error states.
  • Never hardcode secrets; use environment variables and ask users for API keys if needed.
  • Deploy early. If it isn’t on a public URL, it isn’t shipped.

Example use cases

  • Ship a product waitlist landing page with CTA and shareable URL in 30 minutes.
  • Build a single-feature tool like a color palette generator or calculator and deploy within 1–2 hours.
  • Deliver a multi-page dashboard or content tool as a 2–4 hour session with core workflows working.
  • Create a static marketing site and publish to GitHub Pages quickly.
  • Prototype a SaaS MVP with simple auth and Supabase-backed data and deploy to Vercel.

FAQ

Yes if you supply keys; the skill will not hardcode paid API keys. It prefers free tiers (Supabase) or local inference for AI.

What if my idea needs complex backend logic?

Complex products are scoped down to a core feature for the session. Suggestion: ship the core now, add advanced backend features in follow-ups.
