Overview

This skill scans any token contract for security risks, honeypots, and scam patterns using Quick Intel's contract analysis API. It runs an on-demand, paid x402 scan ($0.03 USDC per scan) across 63 supported chains including Base, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, and Tron. Use it to get an actionable, machine-readable verdict and detailed contract flags before you trade or integrate a token.

How this skill works

You submit the chain name and token address to the Quick Intel x402 endpoint. The gateway responds with an HTTP 402 payment challenge; your x402-compatible wallet signs an EIP-3009 authorization and you retry with the payment signature. After settlement the API returns a full security report covering honeypots, taxes, ownership, mint/blacklist/pause permissions, and suspicious functions.

When to use it

  • Before buying a new token to check for honeypots and theft mechanisms
  • When auditing a token contract for ownership and privileged functions
  • To detect hidden mint, blacklist, or pause abilities that risk funds
  • When integrating tokens into a platform to confirm contract safety
  • As a pre-trade risk check for high-value or unfamiliar tokens

Best practices

  • Ensure at least $0.03 USDC on any supported payment chain (Base recommended for low fees)
  • Use exact chain identifiers (e.g., "eth", "base", "solana") to avoid errors
  • Include a unique payment-identifier for idempotent retries to avoid double charges
  • Prefer wallets or libraries that handle x402 flows (x402Fetch, AgentWallet, Vincent) to simplify signing
  • Treat results as one input in risk decisions—combine with on-chain checks and community intelligence

Example use cases

  • Quickly verify a token is not a honeypot before executing a buy order
  • Automated pre-listing security checks for a DEX or marketplace integration
  • CI pipeline step to scan contract addresses referenced by a smart-contract deployment
  • Screen tokens in a watchlist and flag ones with mint/blacklist/pause abilities
  • Agent-based workflows where an x402-compatible wallet authorizes the $0.03 scan

FAQ

Each scan costs $0.03 USDC (30000 atomic units) and is paid via the x402 protocol from any supported chain.

Which chains are supported?

It supports 63 chains including EVMs like eth, base, polygon plus non-EVM chains such as solana, sui, and tron. Use the exact chain name shown by the API.

What indicates an immediate do-not-buy?

Immediate red flags include is_Honeypot = true, isScam = true, has_Scams = true, or can_Potentially_Steal_Funds = true.
