Overview

This skill scores leads from 0-100 by analyzing a domain’s website, DNS, sitemap, and social presence. It produces a detailed per-signal breakdown and assigns a letter grade, and supports customizable JSON scoring profiles so you can define which signals matter for your brand. Use it interactively for single domains, run batches from CSV, or score multiple domains in one command.

How this skill works

The tool inspects DNS records (MX, SPF, DMARC) to estimate business legitimacy, parses sitemaps for URL count and recency, and scrapes the site for blogs, contact pages, meta tags, tech stack, and social links. Each signal is scored according to a JSON profile that defines signal weights and optional keyword lists; scores are normalized into a 0-100 total with an A–F grade. Output is JSON with overall score, per-signal evidence, raw data, and a short summary.

When to use it

  • Qualifying incoming leads to prioritize outreach
  • Scoring a prospect list before sales sequences
  • Evaluating potential partners or reseller candidates
  • Batch auditing a CSV of domains for campaign segmentation
  • Validating business legitimacy before resource allocation

Best practices

  • Start with the default profile, review sample results, then customize weights
  • Use keyword signals to detect competitors, tech, or industry terms relevant to your offer
  • Keep weights roughly summing to 100 for intuitive interpretation (tool auto-normalizes)
  • Increase --scrape-delay for larger batches to avoid rate limits and false negatives
  • Review evidence fields for low scores before discarding a lead

Example use cases

  • Run a CSV of trial signups to prioritize high-value accounts for SDR follow-up
  • Score partner candidates to decide which companies to reach out to for collaborations
  • Detect prospects already using specific CRMs or SEO tools with keyword-based signals
  • Audit competitor mentions and techstack across a list of domains before market research
  • Filter marketing lists to focus on sites with recent content velocity and active blogs

FAQ

Yes. Scoring profiles are JSON files where you define signals, weights, descriptions, and keyword lists to tailor scoring to your use case.

What happens if a site or DNS lookup fails?

If a signal can't be gathered it scores 0 with an explanatory evidence message; the script logs the error and continues so a single failure doesn't stop batch runs.
